Meet IRENE SAMUTUHU

I am married and have 7 children.  I am a business woman here in Kitwe.  I work hard to contribute to my family’s welfare.

I did my secondary education at Mukinge Girls Secondary School.

In my spare time I get involved as Bana Chimbusa or as a matron at weddings and kitchen parties.  I am also a very good drummer.  I am a strong Christian I belong to the UCZ Church, where I sing in the choir.

The dishes I like cooking include ifisashi, fish and Chikanda.

I like fashion, especially African wear; I am always dressed in ifitenge which I design myself.  I think they give an African woman a nice, decent appearance.
