36.01 Simple Bemba Sentences Practice

Introduction

Welcome to our Bemba language lesson where we will start learning important Dolch Sight Words. Sight words are commonly used words that young readers should recognize instantly. By mastering these words, you will improve your reading fluency and comprehension.

In this lesson, we will introduce the first five sight words: a, and, away, big, and blue. We will provide example sentences in English and their translations in Bemba. This will help you understand how these words are used in context.

    This was a short, simple yet helpful lesson, but I would just like to ask if you could make a lesson based on subject and adjective/verb agreement? For example, Icipuna cikulu (Big chair), ififwalo finono (Small clothes), ibashi iya kutauni (The bus is going to town), umwana ulêyangala (The child is playing), etc.
