A book by Thomson Ng’ambi
“Ambassador’s Daughter” was Thomson Ng’ambi’s winning entry for the KitweOnline Writing Competition in 2011. (You can read his winning entry story here).
Now, Thomson has published his first book: Passion of a Dream on Lulu.com.
The Republic of Mutendere, an imaginary African country, has a population of 25 million. The Republic attained independence 50 years ago. However, there are still numerous problems: poverty, disease, corruption, inadequate education, economic dependence and leadership crises. There are three major political parties. The capital city is Roma.
The story revolves around five families: the Chibote, Mumba, Musole, Patel and Chanda families.
