KitweOnLine is currently seeking several writers to contribute articles under various sections of our website. These include:
- Business
- Sport
- Education
- Theatre
- Art
- Poetry
- Culture
- Food and recipes
- Family and relationships
- Your field of work or interest
- etc.
Unfortunately, these are unpaid positions, but each contributor will be offered their own personal profile which will contain all their articles.
This is a unique opportunity to have your work read by thousands of visitors who come to KitweOnLine each month. If you are a student and looking to get into journalism or you are just passionate about writing, this is a great opportunity to build your skills and your cv.
Bloggers need:
- Fluency in English or in any of the 72 Zambian languages
- Ability to write concisely and clearly
- A genuine interest in the topic you will write about
- Ability to self-edit your work and present them ready to publish
- Be able to follow KitweOnline writing guidelines
If you are a blogger, you can guest write here and you will be allowed to include a link in each article (as long as it is relevant to the topic), to your own blog.
Requirements of your content:
- Must be original
- Not published elsewhere (If an article you submit here is not published, then you can use it as you please elsewhere)
- Should not be blatant self-promotion. You may include an “About the author” section at the bottom of your article.
- Should not contain affiliate links
- Accompanying photos must not infringe copyright laws .
